Last night I took part in the Brainstorm event run by Connector . It was an extremely sociable, enjoyable and insightful evening! One that I’d love to take part in again. One of the topics discussed was ‘How to save Ireland‘ and there were many odd & interesting idea’s produced and formulated. Thinking outside the box at it’s best!
I was also one of the entrepreneurs pitching my Pet Photography Ireland business. Brainstorming provided quite a few interesting idea’s that I hope to implement over the coming weeks and months!

Well look no further, in this tutorial I show you how easy it is to create your very own facebook vanity URL. Even if you only have your own personal account it can come in handy to have something like www.facebook.com/JoeBloggs
I’d like to think of myself as somebody who knows their way around the Internet, especially after doing five years of computer courses. I’d almost go as far as to call myself computer savvy! Yet, last night when trying to create another vanity URL for my Pet Photography website, I found it quite hard to figure out an easy way to create my Facebook Vanity URL for my Fan page on Facebook. Here is the snazzy looking Vanity URL for Pet Photography Ireland.
Less talk, here’s how we go about it!
ONE – Simply log into your facebook account.
TWO – Go to www.facebook.com/username – You should have something similar to below:
THREE – Just check the availability of your desired username and hit create.
Simple!!
PS: From what I’ve been reading so far, you need at least 25 fans before you can create a vanity url for a fanpage.
Wow was all I could say!! When I got home from my early morning hike last Sunday (5am start) and finally downloaded the images, my jaw dropped. I had never seen or created any images that had this sort of feel to them (without pp). It looks extremely dreamlike. In processing I have only upped the exposure by half a stop and brought out a little saturation. The original image can be seen here.

Today I went along to the HUGE student march in Dublin’s city centre. The march started at 1pm on Parnell Square, just off O’connell street. There was a great atmostphere, everyone was calm, peaceful collected and there with purpose. They where there with one reason and one reason only!
Please help circulate these images & get the word out. Show people what the march was REALLY LIKE. A few minutes of fighting (from thugs) at the end gets all the headlines, show people the spirit of the day!!! Enough talk, I’ll let the pictures do the work!
