A quick ten/fifteen minute photo stroll around Dublin city centre one late night in March. It left me with this beautiful image which was begging to be converted to black and white! When walking around this area I almost always stop and look at the tower, it’s so impressive!!
Last night was the opening of my solo photography exhibition Earthy Creatures. First thing is first! I would like to give out a HUGE thank you to everyone who has helped me in the past few years. To family, friends, models, photographers, reviewers, make up artists, stylists, followers on and offline – I really and truly appreciate all your help. Your advice, comments, critique and honesty has helped me to take this small step in my photographic life.

A long exposure shot taken outside Trinity College last night. This is Trinitys brilliant and lovely looking climbing wall. I’m thinking of taking up climbing for the summer months, anybody want to give me a few tips/teach me?

For some strange reason I was sure these bad boys where called ‘Ferry go rounds’, looks like everybody else in the world knows them as Merry go rounds. Interesting that! This shot was taken over thirty seconds (30sec exposure) as I spun around in the MERRY-go-round like a madman. Fun fun fun!!!

After last weeks post about the light painting fun we had out at Dun Laoghaire, I decided to go back nearly four months and pick out some of my light painting shots taken in Charleville Castle. This was an brilliant night had with all the boardsies that usually head down to the castle. Darren Carr brought along some amazing lights to play with, which you’ll see in some of the photos.

Last Monday Offshoot had a ‘paint with light’ night planned down by the sea front in Dun Laoghaire. It was a blast!

At the end of the night, the very last shot I wanted to get was a long exposure photo with one big wave frozen from a strobe/flash. Well, I sure got the shot… and the wave. This huge crazy wave came out of nowhere and completely covered me and the camera – I was soaked!!. It’s all good fun though, I’m always happy to go that one step further for a great shot
This week was the second photo walk I’ve organised in Dublin and it was a great success! Thanks to everybody who turned out, it was super to see so many new faces!
With having a mix up in communication between a few cool skaters/bmx bikers, getting told off by the Luas and the Titanic scene on a barge it was quite eventful. I have a few quirky ideas for the next walk! Once I have it planned out a bit better I’ll post up a date & time.
