Lower Lough Bray

A beautiful panoramic shot of Lower Lough Bray deep in the Dublin Mountains. You might remember I posted about this before under ‘A Short Photographic Hike‘, that gives you all the info you need on where this is and the hike itself. This was the second time I’ve done the hike. There was a good bit less snow but still a great hike.

See that house?

There’s some serious resolution in these last few pano’s I’ve been churning out. It’s really hard to convey it by just putting up a web image. I’ll try though – See the house in the image above? Here’s a closer look

I’m starting to see a recurring theme to my lastest panoramic hike shots – Meditative

Fun Dublin Pano – 98 shots

Large Panoramic Photograph outside Trinity College Dublin - Dublin City Centre

This is a fun pano from two years ago, it’s been a long time since I’ve tried these and I used to love doing them. I think it’s time to get back into them!! The end photo is the collaboration of ninety eight, yup, a 98 photo panoramic stitch. Still not as impressive as my 60 pano stitch that you can zoom into or the 17 image pano HDR photo in the snow (Boy that took a while!). I’ve also changed the way in which I process them. Two years ago this would have been a seamless, perfect, flattened looking shot. Almost unrecognisable from a non pano shot apart from the fact you can see it’s a 360 degree angle of outside Trinity and Dublins old central bank. I’m looking forward to taking lots of new shots like this in the next few weeks!!

Have you ever done anything like this before? I’d love to see some of yours!
