Love Photo Competition

That’s right, yet another photo-tastic photo competition for you to enter. This time it’s brought to you by the well known Body Shop. They’re starting Valentines early this year and want you to celebrate your love for the special people in your life.

How to enter?
This Saturday, February the 6^th you can come along to Dundrum Town Centre and have your very own photo taken at The Body Shop which will be automatically entered into the draw. You can also post your photos online at The Body Shops Flickr page.

Claire from Gingerpixel, Red mum and myself will be picking the winner at the end, so get your great photos in!!!

What could you win?

The winner will receive dinner for two in the Roly Saul Restaurant in Dundrum, along with Body Shop goodies worth over €500. If that’s not cool enough, everybody who takes part in the photobooth with get 20% off everything in The Body Shop.

Vodafone Snow Day Photowalk

I was one of a the lucky few photographers invited along to the start of the ‘Cheer up Ireland’ campaign last Sunday. A fun fun photowalk put on by Simply Zesty and Vodafone Ireland. Vodafone Ireland are running a great new photo competition with a nice €3,000 shopping spree in Dundrum shopping centre for the winner.

As many of you may know, Drogheda Photographic Club have been running a compeition for the past few months. The deadline is quickly approaching – 5.00pm Saturday October 31^st 2009. So get your images in quickly!! You can enter four images in total, two colour and two B&W.

Win a €20 photography voucher!

As some of you on twitter may know, I plan to refine and do a little redesign of my photography blog over the next few weeks. I would love some feedback from you, my readers, web designers, computer users, photographers, twitterers, artists, men, women, and children! The more feedback you give me the better. Whoever, I think, gives some of the best tips/ideas about improving my photography blog will win the €20 voucher for Spectra (Spectra also have a shop in Dundrum Town Centre where you can buy a range of camera gear).

This years Peoples Photography is taking place on Saturday & Sunday the 29^th and 30^th at the usual spot – Stephens Green, Dublin, Irelandó! With over 300 photographers displaying their work, it’s going to be a brilliant weekend. The event is absolutely free, so why not grab the family and make a day out of it! It’s on from 10am – 5pm.

South Dublin County Digital Photo Competition

South Dublin Libraries are looking for some of the best photos which capture the essence of living in, working in or visiting the County. Your photo should show something of the County which makes it a great place to be. This can mean many different things – its people, its places, its culture, its heritage, work, play, the everyday, the ordinary, the extraordinary. It’s up to you. We want everyone, whatever age, to get out their cameras and take a second look at what they see around them. Take a photo and email it to us to be in with a chance of winning some fantastic prizes.

New Pixie Photo Competition

€2,500 for one lucky photo lover

Ruby Card, the Republic of Ireland’s newest pre-paid credit card, are launching a photo competition with pix.ie to find the winning design for their card. The theme is depicting beauty from around the Republic of Ireland, and your community could be in with the chance of having the county featured on the first Ruby Card.

The competition is open to everyone, regardless of skill level. The winning entry will be printed onto the next issue of the Ruby card. The competition is a chance to get your photo onto the card and into the hands of people all over the Republic of Ireland. There’s also a Ruby Card loaded with 2,500 Euros going to the winning photo.

Ruby Card launched the competition as a way of exploring Irish talent and giving people a chance to show off the best of their county. They are looking for the most stunning photographs from Irish counties and there are no limits on entry. You can upload as many photos as you want.
