Silent Moments – IADT Photography Exhibition

I would love to welcome you all to one of this years hottest exhibitions. Silent moments is a group exhibition showing work from 23 students (including myself) studying at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design & Technology, or IADT to you and me. I have seen most of the projects from initial idea to proofs, through to final prints and the work is fantastic. Conceptually and visually this will be a treat! This is a show not to be missed.

Opening May 5th 6-9pm

Runs daily 12-6pm

05th May – 12th May

The Joinery
6 Rosemount Terrace, Arbour Hill, Dublin 7.

At a time when public and private places coalesce and where private life is blurred by access to the virtual, photography is both reassessing its role and confirming its heritage. Open to the Public, an exhibition of photographs by year two photography students from IADT-Dun Laoghaire explores these notions through a diverse collection of images. From street photographs to conntemporary interiors the work tries to assess what is public and what is private.

This opening is part of First Thursdays Dublin.
