Feeling trapped in circle
those endless hours
of getting nowhere
just reaching the same place
where you began.

Creativity tapped in vivid streaks,
suddenly like lighting
it flashes in its power
and the mind burns in the night,
stars of thought explode.

In the darkness life flares
with all its energy
so the cold emptiness
doesn’t feel so void,
each sensation shudders,
every image becomes alive
feeling so full of the electricity
from imagination’s voltage.

Heartbeats surge with excitement
as every nerve ending tingles
before that moment of expression
brings a beautiful sunrise in imagery
leaving you nearly shaking inside
for how this magic second of inventive release
came with a wonderful intense power blast.

Thanks again for organising this Kyle - i've put a few shots up on my flickr My favourite one looks like light painting, but is actually a succesfull attempt to rescue my tripod and camera as it slowly slipped off the algae-coated quay edge !
