Junior Liffey Descent 2008

Good evening folks,
Well today I headed off to the Liffey but sadly left the boat at home this time :( A nice 2/2.5mg release for the Junior Liffey Descent was supplied by EBS. There was a good turnout and also plenty of playboaters taking advantage of the release at Sluice.

 

 

Congratulations to everyone who took part in this year’s Great Outdoors Liffey Descent. It was a great race to watch and shoot! I was only up at Sluice for a few minutes and then went down to Lucan Weir for the remainder. I got a few weird looks when I jumped off the verge into the water with my camera, but to get a good shot you have to be dedicated. Also as a paddler, jumping into the Liffey is nothing new to me!

The Junior Liffey Descent 2008 results are now up. Well done to everybody! I hope you enjoy the photo’s!

    Do ypu have any pics of the following bib numbers:

    24,26,37,38,39,40,48,54,55,56,57,158,159.

    The photos on your blog are pretty impressive. Do you mind me asking what camera you use and the lens that produced the photos?I’m an avid photographer myself.

    I had a Canon 30D, 10-20mm and 70-200mm Lens out on Saturday.
